We work with 100% alpaca and baby alpaca, the finer of the two. It warms without weight, and it does not itch. With the years it softens instead of wearing out. It is a natural fibre, not a petroleum byproduct: at the end of its life it returns to the earth the way our own hair does.

Behind every garment there are hands from Andahuaylillas. We believe the people here have the talent to do work of this quality, and their families live from that work. Weaving is an age-old craft in these valleys: that it can still support a household today, without leaving the community, is part of what goes into every piece.
